Read the device identity

Open the license page in the interface. Copy the hardware identity shown there.

Send it to us

We exchange it for a key file. No configuration or traffic data travels with it.

Install the key

Upload the key file on the same page. Active immediately. No reboot.

What if the hardware is replaced?: We reissue the key for the new unit. There is no charge when the cause is a failure.
What if the system is reinstalled?: The same key keeps working as long as the hardware underneath is unchanged.
Does it run in a virtual machine?: Yes. Worth knowing: virtual machines can be cloned and an offline scheme cannot detect that. We state the limit here rather than bury it in the terms.
What happens when it expires?: The device keeps running and traffic keeps flowing. What stops is access to the update path and support coverage.
